Driven to Beauty

The official promotion of the Olympic Symphony record, composed by Marek Sewen in memory of the tragically deceased POC President Piotr Nurowski, took place on March 3rd at the John Paul II Olympic Center.

Polish-Danish Cooperation

On 20 February, Presidents of Polish (Andrzej Kraśnicki) and Danish (Niels Nygaard) Olympic Committees signed an agreement on cooperation between the organizations.

Bronze and Silver for the End!

A day before the end of the XXII OWG in Sochi, Polish speed skaters won two medals in team competitions. Women won silver while men got bronze.

Kamil Stoch Sweeps Second Gold!

Polish ski jumper Kamil Stoch became an Olympic champion on the large hill during the XXII OWG in Sochi. It is his second gold medal; earlier he also triumphed in the normal hill event.

Zbigniew Bródka an Olympic Champion!

Polish speed-skater Zbigniew Bródka became an Olympic champion in men's 1500-meter run. Jan Szymański was 15th and Konrad Niedźwiedzki 20th.
