Polish Olympic Committee

The Medical Commission is a statutory body of the Polish Olympic Committee which serves as an advisory body to the POC Executive Board in the following areas:

  • organizing health care for Olympic Team athletes,
  • providing medical backup for the sports training process, on a day-to-day basis,
  • organizing medical backup at the Olympic Games,
  • problems associated with doping in sport,
  • scientific activities in the area of sport (exercise science).

The POC Medical Commission also acts in the area of propagating physical activity and sport as a crucial element of health prevention by initiating educational and information actions.
